Reviving Daisies

Reviving Daisies

Why hello there. sister Lindsay. It’s been a crazy set of months and I have been way too crazy busy to do much posting. However, in my surfing today I found an article that I thought would be of interest to you. What interests me in particular is the second to last paragraph, where Ellen Greene states that a Pushing Daisies has a possibility of getting a second chance in the form of a stage production. While I am excited that a show I loved is getting a second chance, I’m not quite happy about the medium in which it is being done. As you know, I do enjoy stage productions, but the problem with them is that it would limit the reach it would have. Stage productions are usually done in a certain small amount of cities, if they are even done in more than one. For those who do not live in those cities, they are left with the choice to either miss out one something they would really enjoy or spend the money necessary to travel to one of the selected cities, which can be pretty expensive. As a university student, I know I wouldn’t have the money to travel to a city like New York to see the play. So while I am excited that Pushing Daisies is getting a second chance, I really wish it was in a medium that is more accessible to the most amount of fans of the show.
